Sancre Tor is a large fort north of Chorrol containing undead (quest-specific). [edit] It contains six zones: Sancre Tor, Sancre Tor, Entry Hall, Sancre Tor, Hall of Judgement, Sancre Tor, Prison, Sancre Tor, Catacombs, and Sancre Tor, Tomb of the Reman Emperors.

- Sancre Tor is an Ayleid phrase meaning "Golden Hill"
- There is an unmarked road that leads here, running from Bruma to Chorrol.
- The surface ruins contain several chests with loot (two in the main tower, two in the southeast tower, a locked one in the southwest tower, one in a small northwest tower, one by a small northern tower), as long as you're willing to take on all of leveled bones undead (skeletons and/or liches) wandering the ruins. There is also a Sidri-Ashak Runestone just north of the main tower. There is a boss bones undead near the entrance of the fort.
- The catacombs can only be entered with the Sancre Tor Key; you'll acquire the key as part of the main quest during Blood of the Divines. If you try to open the main door without the key, you are told: "A weather-worn iron plaque is affixed to the door above an imposing lock. The inscription is barely legible: 'Sealed by authority of the Grandmaster of the Blades, 36th Year of the Reign of Tiber Septim'".
- Inside the ruin you will encounter leveled ethereal undead (ghosts and/or wraiths), four Undead Blades, and undead Warden Kastav. See the quest description for more details on the interior of the ruin.
- The exterior of the fort has quite possibly the largest area out of every other Ayleid ruin, cave, mine, and fort.
- The fort is one of the best sources of ectoplasm.
- The doors in the zones below noted as (locked, says 'key required' but there is no key) are actually obstacles such as a caved in hallway. There is no door, and none will appear on your map. These passages are used by the ghosts when they walk back to the main chamber.

- This location's map marker (M on map) is named Sancre Tor (editor name SancreTorMapMarker). The entrance door is ENE of the marker, 100 feet away.

- 1-8 Bones Undead are near the entrance
- 1 Chest (contains 1 enchanted weapon, 50% chance scroll) is at location C on map
- 1 Chest 03 is near the entrance
- 3 Chests 04 are near the entrance
- The following plants can be found near the entrance: 87 Clouded Funnel Cap plants, 3 Lavender plants, 20 Milk Thistle plants, and 10 Wormwood plants
