William Shen was a Game Designer at Bethesda Game Studios in the early 2010s and 2020s, with credits on The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield. He was initially contracted under an internship, which lasted from May 2007 to November 2007. Shen returned to the company two years later, with his tenure lasting from May 2009 to October 2023.

Known Contributions

• Skyrim — Shen wrote much of the game's introduction quest Unbound. He authored and implemented much of the quest design for the city of Markarth, including The Forsworn Conspiracy and No One Escapes Cidhna Mine. Shen also created a handful of Daedric quests for the game, including Waking Nightmare, The Black Star, The House of Horrors, and The Taste of Death.
