[edit] Images
I've seen that you have added some NPC images lately. While they are certainly welcome may I remind you about two points:
- The 'NeedsImage' tag says: "square image". The images that you been uploading are definitely not (e.g. 313 × 439)
- Please also keep in mind that Images have specific title guidelines. For example your image for Aenvir is named 'Image:Aengvir1.jpg'. The correct name would be: 'Image:OB-NPC-Aengvir.jpg'
To have a good idea of what the images should be take a look at Uurwen's, for example. --SerCenKing Talk 07:16, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Okay thankyou for clarifying that SerCenKing. I though by squarer it meant that it needed to focus on the NPC more and not the surroundings. I'll take a look at that and see what I can do. --Matthewest •T•C•E• 07:18, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Since the resolution for Uurwen's image is 1000 x 1000, would it be okay for me to upload images with two same pixel values (eg. 500 x 500, 600 x 600 etc.)? Thanks. --Matthewest •T•C•E• 07:30, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Yep, no problem at all. --SerCenKing Talk 07:35, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Trimming existing images isn't going to help. The idea is to show more of the NPC, and given that most of them don't show legs, the current images need re-taking, not trimming. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 08:18, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Oh I didn't realise their legs needed to show... I guess I can't retake any images then because I don't own a copy of the game on the PC. Is there any way I can help out imagewise? --Matthewest •T•C•E• 08:22, 11 April 2009 (EDT)

[edit] Guard Uniform Images
Sadly, I was trying to take a screenshot of the Cheydinhal Uniform yesterday, but my 'Prn Sc' button was not co-operating with me. xD So, I might not be able to add them for a while. Kvatch 09:44, 12 April 2009 (EDT)
- That's fine. Images are what makes this site really good so any taken are appreciated! --Matthewest •T•C•E• 18:31, 12 April 2009 (EDT)
[edit] Welcome Messages
Whilst it's always nice to give each new user a friendly welcome message, may I suggest that welcoming users like Malekith, whose last contribution was over two years ago, or Inkdrinker, who last contributed in October 2006, isn't worth the effort. If they were to come back to the site and start making contributions again, then a welcome might be appropriate, but it would need to be worded rather differently. Until then, please stop adding welcome messages to unused accounts. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 05:00, 14 April 2009 (EDT)
- I thought somebody might say this. I didn't realise that they hadn't contributed for a while. I welcome many people because the first welcome message that I received meant a lot to me and I decided to stay because of it. From now on I'll check whether they are active or not. --Matthewest •T•C•E• 21:10, 14 April 2009 (EDT)
[edit] New to Oblivion and UESP
Well I just got Oblivion and joined UESP. I was wondering if you could show me the ropes of both if possible.

[edit] Your userpage
Well I went to go edit my page up so I can add some facts about me buy every time I do it opens up a download file and I don't have the program. Can you help me? CaLi KiD RyaN 21:11, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
- I'll just list the steps to edit your User Page.
1. Click your name near the top-right corner of the screen 2. Type whatever you need to type 3. Click Save Changes
That should work. But if it doesn't, try to download the file that pops up. --Matthewest •T•C•E• 05:52, 23 April 2009 (EDT)
[edit] Thanks
Just like to say thanks for the help on my userpage! Sorry I'm a bit late with thanking you but I was on holiday in Mongolia (most boring place EVER!) so I've not been active for a while. Well I took my laptop but didn't use it much... –Veltas•T•E• 00:22, 10 May 2009 (EDT)
- No problem, just trying to help! --Matthewest •T•C•E• 20:30, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
Hello and thank-you for your help! Between the very start of a new game and the moment when you choose your class and skills, how do the skill increases affect leveling? In order to level efficiently, should I walk while avoiding combat or increase as many skills as possible?

[edit] Need a mentor
Hi, I just joined UESP, and would like some help in creating my own user page. I wish to be able to add my own fanfiction and stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated! The13thGolem 01:51, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
