The Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon is the shrine to the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon, and is located in the mountains to the south of the Pale. You can find the shrine if you go east from Stonehills until you reach the Hall of the Vigilant. When facing the hall, there is a stone marker leading up a steep hill to the right, just beyond a rocky outcropping.
Two high-ranking Dremora will attack you at the end of the shrine's related quest. A key can be looted from either of the bodies, which opens the door to Dagon's shrine. Two more lower-ranked Dremora are inside. There is a very large amount of loot in this room, including many gold and ebony ingots. In order to get the Dremora to appear, you must complete the museum quest in Dawnstar. The Dremora here (and all the loot) will periodically respawn every ten in-game days.
