Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Trouble in Kragenmoor Palace[edit]
Speak with Grandmaster Omin Dres in his palace in Kragenmoor. He seems a bit off, and directs you to his seneschal, Denu Faren. Denu tells you to keep your voice down, and informs you that the Grandmaster's son has been kidnapped by the Vanguard. The Vanguard is holding Sen Dres hostage so that the Grandmaster can't do anything about the Vanguard's overbearing presence without threatening his son's life. Denu doesn't know anything about his location, and directs you to Nadras Hlor, who is upstairs.
Head on up to the second floor and speak with Nadras about the hostage situation. Nadras knows where you can find information regarding his whereabouts. You have two options: Infiltrate the Vanguard Barracks within the city of Kragenmoor, or invade their camp outside the city.
Infiltrating the Barracks[edit]
If you choose the stealthier route, Nadras will direct you to a Khajiit slave selling wares right outside the palace. Her name is Kaasha, and you can either purchase a Vanguard disguise from her or intimidate her into giving you one for free. Once you have equipped the disguise, enter the Vanguard barracks and search for documents regarding Sen Dres's location. You'll find one in the basement, one in the center of the first floor, and one on a table on the second floor. Be careful of the sentry wandering the hall; they can see through your disguise. Once you have the documents, talk to Denu Faren.
If you get spotted by one of the captains, you will get kick out and have to reenter the barracks again with your disguise.
Rushing the Camp[edit]
If you prefer the less subtle option, the Vanguard camp is outside the city, just east of Kragenmoor. Slaughter the Vanguard troops that get in your way and find the documents that can lead you to Sen Dres's location. When you have them, return to Denu Faren.
