Oblivion talk:Chapels
This doesn't discuss how the chapel reacts to a life of crime. I was trying to figure out what the mechanics are that cause the chapel to tell you to repent.
How does that fit in? 71.229.4.25 23:25, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- You will receive the message Repent your crimes, wicked one! if you have a bounty or your infamy is above your fame. I'm basing that on the AltaroftheNine script. mxk101Talk 23:31, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Chapel bug?
I am trying to use an altar in order to get rid of PH, since I don't wish to become an vampire...
But it says that "You've already used your blessing today"... But I haven't!

- Then leave, wait 24 hours, return, and try again. If that doesn't work, try using Cure Disease on yourself. The article shows the many ways you can acquire this. Besides, the Vampirism doesn't take effect unless you sleep in a bed three days after the initial infection. Bauglir100 05:00, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
[edit] Dodging the Blessing?
It seems I have accidentally dodged the blessing from the main alter a few times, and it doesn't let me try again of course.
After playing with it a while I found that activating the alter while dodge rolling causes you to dodge the blessing. That's no fun. Is this a bug? 96.240.176.246 03:14, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
Ok, it wasn't the dodge rolling that messed up the blessing, I just had it happen again while standing. There is definitely something wrong with the main alters. The one in Bruma is the one I was using. After reloading the save, it suddenly works. It makes a different noise when it doesn't work, and the animation is different. 96.240.176.246 06:48, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
