The King of Miscarcand is a lich that can be found in Miscarcand, Morimath. He will appear once the player retrieves the Great Welkynd Stone.

- If the player does not destroy the King of Miscarcand during the related quest, he and his two Zombie Guardians will pursue the player anywhere in Cyrodiil. As a result, the player is unable to sleep, wait or fast travel, because the game always states there are enemies nearby. You can end the "combat" by fighting and killing other monsters and NPCs, the combat will end and you can sleep and fast travel normally but the king and his guardians will still find you later, even in cities See the quest page for details, including fixes.
This bug is fixed by the Unofficial Oblivion Patch.
