Regarding the removal of two segments in the Ideal Character section:
1) "The tough part is figuring out how you're going to kill stuff. Sure, you're welcome to be a total pacifist if that's what intrigues you, but chances are most players will be interested in killing things." I can understand why it doesn't necessarily need to be there, but it still seems relevant. They're based on mainly non-aggressive magical talents, which means how one attacks is entirely dependent on the player. The same goes for "The same thing goes for armor."
2) "In short, this is a fine race to go with if you definitely intend on using magic, but aren't so intent you want the kamikaze Altmer. If you just want an Altmer without the negative effects they have, you might consider backing your Breton up with a magicka enhancing sign." I think this is fine to include. A summary without details makes it easier to absorb. Organous 22:53, 15 February 2007 (EST)
 Fortify Magicka
The ability Fortify maximum magicka 0.5 x INT (50 % more magicka) is wrong. That is because a 50 % increase is not 0.5, but 1.5.. Think about it.. is 5 50% more than 10 ? guess not, multiplying with a half is half of the amount multiplyed and 0,5 is MULTIPLYING WITH A HALF = HALF OF THE STARTING SUM OF MAGICKA Thus 1.5 is 50 % more. try this, multiply 10 with 1.5 . What do you get ? 15.. which is 50 % more than 10 ;)
- You're assuming that the Morrowind term 'Fortify' = the mathematical operation 'multiply'. It doesn't. 'Fortify' is Morrowind-speak for 'adds this much to base x1'. Build a character and check it out for yourself, or have a look in the Construction Set. There really is no need for ranting or vandalism, doubly so (i.e Fortified 1.0) when you're in the wrong.
