Shadowmere is Undead?

"Shadowmere is a mysterious undead black horse[...]" What's the source on Shadowmere being undead? I've never gotten the impression that he's undead, and haven't been able to find anything that supports the statement. Most evidence, to me, seems to point toward him being a daedra. His coloration matches that of the Spiral Skein, the gender inconsistency matches up, and he's spawned in a murky, black pool (Lore:Chaotic Creatia). This would also line up well with Shadowmere respawning, and could additionally explain his unnatural regeneration, strength, and endurance. Abyssal Googliarch (talk) 22:08, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

I would be in favour of removing the mention of undead, since I also couldn't find anything to back that up (at least in the page's references). However, I wouldn't replace that with a claim that they are Daedric since that seems to me it would be original research. Theolaa (talk) 21:47, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
