Questgiver says:
We have an interesting job available (player's name). A high ranking member of the Thieves Guild. This will be a tough one. Do you want it?

Questgiver goes on:
You are a sharp one. The target's name is (thief's name), here in (town). He moves around a lot and is usually protected by bodyguards. Be careful. You have seven days. When it is done, return here and I will pay you (random gold) gold. Ask for (questgiver's name).

Its not for the faint of heart.

This quest takes place in the current town and the time limit is four days to one week. First of all you must find the thief. Ask around in town until you come up with his daily schedule. If you have access to the spymaster this will be an easy task. The schedule of the thief is as follows:
- Daily from 00:00 to 10:00 he will be at his residence in town
- Daily from 10:01 to 18:00 he will be at a random building in town
- Daily from 18:01 to 19:00 he will be at the house of his mistress
- Daily from 19:01 to 00:00 he will be at a tavern in town
When you know the house of the mistress you can gain entrance to the house and visit her as long as the thief is not around. In case you have at least 50 gold for her, she will tell you that your target's bodyguards are not around when he is with her. You can use this information to your advantage, and kill him when he is at the mistress' house. In the other case, his bodyguards will always show up when you have found him. During the battle, the thief will always cast a shield spell on himself, except for the time he is at his mistress' house.
Report back to the questgiver after you killed your target and collect your reward.

When the thief is killed following message pops up:
(thief's name) falls to the ground, dead. The Brotherhood will be proud.

When you report back, after you killed the thief, the questgiver says:
Excellent work (player's name). I hope it wasn't too rough for you. Here is your guild fee.

A successfully completed quest results in a reputation gain according to the table below.

- 5x One Knight every four in-game minutes (50% chance) once you have found the Thief and you are not at the mistress' house
- 5x One Rogue every two in-game minutes (50% chance) once you have found the Thief and you are not at the mistress' house
- 5x One Sorceror every three in-game minutes (50% chance) once you have found the Thief and you are not at the mistress' house
