1. Head to the dungeon the questgiver points you to.
2. Find the traitor within and kill him/her.
3. Report back to the questgiver to complete the quest.
4. Be sure to follow the time limit.

Questgiver says:

There is a traitor in the Brotherhood. You will perform the necessary accounting on this liability, will you not?

or

From time to time, the Brotherhood is forced to do an accounting in our own books. A traitor has been found within our order who must be settled. You have been selected to do the honors.

[edit] Quest Acceptance

Questgiver goes on:

Very good. The traitor has taken refuge in (dungeon) to the (direction). If you have not returned in (time limit), your honor will be forfeit and another will take your place. Do not fail us in this, (player's first name).

Questgiver answers:

An ignoble reply. I expected better.

Just a standard dungeon crawl, find the traitor, who will be either an assassin, an acrobat, a battlemage, or a nightblade. Kill him/her and collect the loot from his/her dead body, report back to the questgiver afterwards.

When the traitor is dying his/her last words are:

"I am not...the traitor you...think I am. The...real traitor is..."

and you will get a notification that the contract has been fulfilled.

When you report back to the questgiver after executing the traitor, he will say:

Well done. You have reason to be proud.

A successfully completed quest results in a reputation gain according to the table below.
