The Infernal City, the first of two announced Elder Scrolls novels being written by Greg Keyes for Bethesda, will be published by Del Rey Books, part of the Random House Publishing Group, on November 24, 2009.

In Tamriel's fourth era, the citizens are once again troubled by an unnatural force, this time a city - Umbriel, The Infernal City - hovering above and casting a dark shadow, made darker by the knowledge that wherever it falls, the undead rise.

Together Annaïg, a seventeen-year-old girl, and Prince Attrebus, the Emperor's young son, are Tamriel's only hope, and their adventure takes them throughout the Elder Scrolls universe.
