Welcome![edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! (I plead LazynessEddie The Head 06:24, 1 October 2011 (UTC))

Pointless Welcomes[edit]

Please don't add loads of welcome messages to people who have never made an edit. It's pointless and simply clutters up the site. It's nice to give people a welcome once they start contributing, but if they aren't doing anything, it's just pointless. rpeh •TCE 08:06, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

I understand that from now on I shouldn't welcome people who did not contribute to the project at all. I must learn the rules of UESP, it seems that they are different than on regular Wikipedia. If there's some sort of punishment for what I did, feel free to impose it. --Arkhon 15:39, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
I apologize if you feel that my actions were unwanted. I meant to post it right after Kiz's comment, but then I got distracted and only posted it right after your post in which you said you understood. There was an edit conflict, but I decided to post it anyway, containing a useful link and further explanation. Anyway, sorry again. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 15:50, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
Not a problem, at one moment I just felt like I'm cornered by you guys... I will not make this (pointless welcoming) mistake again. I really had no idea that welcoming users who did not contribute yet is forbidden. I want to contribute to the project, not to be a problem of it. --Arkhon 15:58, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
It isn't forbidden, but if you take a look at the recent changes around the time you were doing it, you can see the problem. It's part of the reason why bot edits don't show up there. Multiple edits to different pages which are the same aren't of interest to anybody. We didn't mean to corner you, it just shows that theres at least 3 of watching the Recent Changes most of the time :) Well it isn't forbidden yet, AKB might make a note of it on the Admin Noticeboard so a policy gets made :/ --Kiz ·•· Talk ·•· Contribs ·•· Mail ·•· 16:02, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
Yes I understand, I apologize, that was stupid of me. P.S. I'm watching the Recent Changes too ;). --Arkhon 16:09, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Artifact Images on Daedric Prince Pages[edit]

Hey Arkhon. I saw that you were adding artifact images to the Daedric Prince lore pages. They don't really belong there, as I'm trying to slowly migrate artifacts to their own pages where a more complete gallery can be displayed. Not all artifacts have pages yet (far from it...), but I'd recommend checking first before adding the images to the Prince page. —Legoless 12:47, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Fortify X[edit]

Hey Arkhon I noticed you recent edit to Marcurio's page, and unfortunately had to revert it because first off you deleted a note while adding yours, and also if you didn't know it has been tested and confirmed that ALL Fortify Skill abilities do not work on followers meaning your note about Naakhrin wasn't really correct. There is a list of enchantments that work with followers on the Follower page if you want to check there. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 07:00, 9 March 2013 (GMT)

Oh didn't catch the move, if you think it should be under bugs feel free to move it back. But yeah, only a couple enchantments are still unconfirmed for or against working with followers. But basically if its a skill one it doesn't. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 07:06, 9 March 2013 (GMT)
