Gah Sadrith Inquisition (TR_M1_GS_MQ_5)
Index Finishes Quest Journal Entry
1 Apparently a famous witch-hunter, Arelis Lloran, is staying in the Wetstone Tavern at Gah Sadrith.
2 Arelis Lloran, a famous witch-hunter, told me that he and his partner Eranil were staying in Gah Sadrith to do some 'inquisition'.
3 Eranil told me that he and Arelis Lloran were investigating some of the Altmer companions and students of Mistress Eldale. They suspect that some of them may be involved in a Daedric cult. Should I find something unusual and suspicious, Eranil asked me to report it to him.
5 On the coast of Hlavan Isle, east of Gah Sadrith, I found a small rowboat. There was a strange magical amulet inside. I should investigate further about the nature of this amulet.
10 I spoke with the witchhunter Eranil in the Wetstone Tavern in Gah Sadrith about the weird amulet I found inside a boat on a coast east of Gah Sadrith. Eranil confirmed that the boat belonged to local commoner Fernil Yantus. He also told me there is a dangerous cult of Mehrunes Dagon worshippers in the Telvanni Isles, and this amulet carries their signature enchantment. I should ask local merchants about the possible origins of this amulet, as it is unlikely that Fernil would be able to craft it himself.
20 I have found out that the amulet was sold by Cabrinth Dven to Gavisi Thelas.
30 Gavisi Thelas broke and told me it was Ilwen who forced her to buy that amulet for him. She also told me of Ilwen's strange actions on the road from Port Telvannis to Sadas Plantation. I should report to Eranil now and ask him what to do next.
40 Eranil believes now is the right time to question Ilwen and find out whether he is in some way related to the amulet and possibly even involved in kidnapping of Melie and daedra worship. I should confront Ilwen with Gavisi Thelas' testimony, without raising his suspicion too much. After that Eranil may strike hard on Ilwen, blaming him of witchcraft and starting an official inquisition by interrogating him.
50 As I confronted Ilwen with Gavisi Thelas' testimony, he escaped with teleportation magic. He challenged me to come to Yashazmus and attempt to stop the sacrifice of Melie, fiancee of Mjording, which was kidnapped by Fernil Yantus, who was pawn of the cult. I should inform Eranil about the location of the cult.
60 Eranil rewarded me for proving Ilwen's involvement in Daedra worhsip and for revealing the location of the cultist's base. Now he and Arelis Lloran will have to cleanse Yashazmus ruin of the cult members. I am invited to join them as well and help them to stop Ilwen and possibly save Melie, if she is still alive.
65 Eranil rewarded me for proving Ilwen's involvement in Daedra worhsip and for revealing the location of the cultist's base. Now he and Arelis Lloran will have to cleanse Yashazmus ruin of the cult members. Eranil insisted that I do not try to join them on their mission, as I am not too skilled for such a dangerous adventure. They have promised me they will attempt to save Mjording's fiancee Melie from the cultists as well, if she is still alive.
70 I have found Eranil and Arelis Lloran deep in Yashazmus shrine. They have joined me, but it seems some evil magic has been activated to prevent us from escaping or anybody else getting in. We must stop the ritual sacrifice, before it is too late, and when Ilwen is killed and Melie saved we will perhaps be able to break the magic.
80 Ilwen is dead and the cult of Mehrunes Dagon in the Telvanni Isles is ruined. Eranil thanked me for helping them to stop the cult and rewarded me for my aid.
85 Ilwen is dead and the cult of Mehrunes Dagon in the Telvanni Isles is ruined. Arelis Lloran thanked me for helping them to stop the cult. He told me that he would inform Temple authorities of my help.
90 Finishes quest After killing the leader of Mehrunes Dagon cult, Ilwen, I left the Yashazmus ruin. His cult will do no more harm.
95 Finishes quest It's been several days since Eranil and Arelis Loran went to Yashazmus to wipe out the cult of Mehrunes Dagon and Mjording went there in order to save Melie. The ruin should be probably cleansed of evil now, so I could check whether Mjording did save Melie in the end. I hope if Melie was rescued by Mjording, they would meet me at Gah Sadrith market. The inquisitors are probably not coming back to Gah Sadrith again. Inquisition is finished, I assume.
100 Finishes quest It's been several days since Eranil and Arelis Loran went to Yashazmus to wipe out the cult of Mehrunes Dagon and to save Melie. Maybe I should check out whether they were successful or not. The ruin should be probably cleansed and Melie should be back at the market of Gah Sadrith, where Mjording awaits her. If they are still alive, both inquisitors will be probably on another mission already, so I don't expect them coming back to Gah Sadrith. I guess my part in this game is finished, then.
105 Finishes quest It's been several days since Eranil and Arelis Loran went to Yashazmus to wipe out the cult of Mehrunes Dagon. Alive or not, inquisitors are probably not coming back to Gah Sadrith, as their part in this game is finished. And so is mine.
110 When I confronted Ilwen with his involvement in the Mehrunes Dagon cult, he saw a chance to avenge the ruined sacrifice, and attacked me.
120 Finishes quest I told Eranil about Ilwen's reaction; however, Eranil was furious that I fled from Ilwen's house and left him alone. Eranil is almost sure that Ilwen is aware of the inquisition being after him and will try to escape. Eranil gave me some potions of his own making as reward for my part in the investigation, but told me that he and Arelis Lloran have no time and must go after Ilwen immediately and that I should not delay them any longer. I guess I really can do nothing more.
130 Finishes quest I have reported to Eranil that I have slayed Ilwen, after he admitted worshiping Mehrunes Dagon and attacked me. Eranil was a little bit disappointed that he could not interrogate Ilwen himself, but he was content with the evidence I had already collected about Ilwen and the Yashazmus cult. Exterminating the rest of the cult will be routine, so Eranil thanked me and rewarded me with some enchanted items. I guess I did all I could to destroy the cult.
