Detailed Walkthrough

Ratagos' next task is to cure three of Ranyon-ruhn's citizens who have been stricken with a disease. He is worried that there may be an epidemic. The three are Verana Eindari, Arthal Eindari, and Dilnar Llenim.

Talk to each villager and get them to describe their symptoms before curing them with a Cure Common Disease effect - either a spell or a potion will do. Once all three are cured, return to Ratagos.

The symptoms they describe are tiredness and a pain in the neck, which Ratagos identifies as the symptoms of Porphyric Hemophilia - the vampire disease! Finally, he explains the nature of the problem facing the temple in the region. It appears there is a cult of Molag Bal that has been infecting people with vampirism. Your reward for curing the villagers is the Staff of Meris' Grace and three Temple reputation points.

Notes

• If you don't cure the villagers within three days, they turn into vampires and you will be forced to kill them. In this case, you receive 200 gold rather than the staff, and only get two reputation points.
• Ratagos's final words to you are an instruction to head to Necrom and explain the situation to the head of the Temple there. This quest does not exist in map 1 or map 2, so does not appear in your journal.

10		Ratagos wants me to heal the three villagers of Ranyon-ruhn who have been stricken with some seemingly epidemic disease. The three in question are Verana and Arthal Eindari, both of whom live in Arthal's house; and Dilnar Llenim.
20		I arrived too late, and the one of the victims of the mysterious disease had become a vampire! I must check the other victims of the disease and, if they have become vampires, kill them before they endanger the village.
30		Ratagos thanked me for ending the epidemic in Ranyon-ruhn. He then revealed the true nature of that which he faces here in the Telvannis Region: a cult of Molag Bal! He told me I must go to Necrom as soon as possible and report this to the Temple leader there.
