Forsworn Briarheart[edit]

At the summit by the word wall, I encountered a Forsworn Briarheart along with the two Hagravens. I couldn't tell whether the Hagravens had already killed him as part of the "scenery" on the altar, although in my case he was under the altar.

There was another Forsworn Briarheart further down the slope with the rest of the camp.

There are numerous chests here and there is one apothecary's satchel in a tent. If you first enter this area during the night, make sure to wait for daylight to finish tossing the place....if only for the view! Oshaugm 08:53, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

when i got there, the hag ravens were in the middle of a ritual of creating a briarheart right in front of the word wall, and if i went near them it said 'this person is busy' which suggests it was scripted, at the end there was a bit of blue light and the briarheart got up off the table. has this happened anywhere else for anyone? or is it only at lost valley redoubt? if it's specific to lost valley redoubt, should it be mentioned in the article?78.151.159.89 19:08, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

I've been here three times now and once I interrupted things early enough that the briarheart never got up off the table. The other two times, he did. Easiest way to deal with him is to freeze him solid with an Ice Form shout and then ready a bow and poisoned arrow to hit him immediately he defrosts. --174.6.51.17 07:11, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
I've found an even easier way, you agitate them with either and AOE spell/staff or a shout like UF and then back up until they have their backs to the cliff and UF them off the cliff. As a result after I did Bard's leap and went to loot their bodies one of the dead Hagraves still made breathing noises, it was weird. (SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 19:36, 2 April 2012 (UTC))

Conversation between two forsworn npcs[edit]

Prior to obtaining the summit as I charged up to two forsworn who were sandboxing, I interrupted their conversation. One of the forsworn said "Heard he'd decided to let the hagravens turn him into a briarheart." Unfortunately the battle cut me off from hearing the whole dialogue, but they were obviously discussing the deceased forsworn briarheart on the ritual table in front of the word wall - who may or may not be raised depending on how fast and aggressive the player is.
