Dismay is a dragon shout that causes enemies to flee from you. It can hit any enemies in its radius, similar to Unrelenting Force.

Possible Uses[edit]

  • Occupying several weaker enemies to make way for a stronger foe.
  • Lessening the odds against yourself when outnumbered.
  • Clearing the way to flee out of a difficult situation.
  • Buying time to safely transform into a Werewolf or Vampire Lord.

Notes[edit]

  • Although its effects are similar to that of Fear spells, Dismay is not governed by the Illusion skill and does not benefit from any perks. It also does not affect undead, Daedra, machines, or dragons.
