i cant get Brellin to go away i talked 1 time and now he follows me and it is annoying

I am having the same problem. How can we make Brellin go away? He makes self-righteous comments as I am not running around as theif and assassin.

I have tried killing him, trapping him, everything.........that darn bosmer wont leave me alone.......

because you asked him to follow you right after you recruited him. he's stuck with you forever. just throw him off dive rock or something thats the only way

I had this same problem and I found a temporary solution. You can knock him unconscious and immediately fast travel into a city. He will be gone for the time you are in that city. This same method also works for houses and other buildings. However, if you leave the city / building and go into the wilderness the "darn bosmer" will reappear. Also, this only works for a period of under 24 hours. If you wait in the city / building longer than that, Brellin will magically reappear once again.

I removed this section from Brellin's notes: Areldur joins the Knights of the Nine faction after his arrival at the Priory. This has nothing to do with him, so I got rid of it, and even if you replace the word Areldur with Brellin it wouldn't be true. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Arch-Mage Matt (talk • contribs) on July 9, 2009.

Thanks for catching that. I edited all the Knights' pages at once and must have forgotten to change the name for this page. But the information is actually true: Brellin joins the faction when he arrives at the priory, according to his script, assuming the player accepts him. –Eshe^talk 01:51, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
