Philip Franc is a Breton Hunter living in Blankenmarch.

Like the other two residents of the village, Philip lives a peaceful existence. He wakes up at 6am, leaves his house, and then wanders around town doing nothing but talk with his neighbors, Floyd Nathans and Hanz gro-Hubrag. He eats dinner back in his house at 8pm and heads for his bed at 10pm.

He carries a leveled bow and a leveled set of arrows, both of which can be enchanted. He wears randomly selected middle-class clothing and carries a bottle of either beer, ale, or cheap wine as well as a small amount of gold.

His house is unlocked and located in the eastern part of the settlement, and while the interior is not nearly as messy as his two neighbors, it still only holds a few items of interest. All three volumes of Biography of Barenziah and a weak potion of grounding can be found near the bed. A piece of Shepherd's Pie is located on the dinner table and, in a bowl on some nearby shelves, five rare samples of ironwood nuts.

• Philip is one of the few NPCs to have a randomly chosen wardrobe. The game engine chooses between five middle-class shirts, three middle-class pairs of pants and five middle-class pairs of shoes.
