Huurwen in the Anvil Fighters Guild Hall

Huurwen is a Bosmer warrior and a Journeyman of the Fighters Guild in Anvil. She offers basic training in Block, but only to Fighters Guild members.

While her superior Block skills are well known and admired all over Anvil, Huurwen secretly longs for a good hunting trip in the wilderness. Nevertheless, she stays in the Anvil Guild Hall devoted to her duties as a Fighters Guild member, which means practicing and offering training all day long. She sleeps in the bedroom area on the ground floor every night between midnight and 6am. After waking up, she will spend her morning wandering around either the ground floor or the dining area on the second floor. At noon, she sits down in the practice area and eats her lunch while watching fellow guild member Rhano practice on the dummy pad. At 2pm, she participates in an exhausting sparring session against Sten the Ugly. When they stop at 6pm, Huurwen takes a relaxing break in the bedroom area before eating her dinner at 8pm. At 10pm, she returns to her morning schedule, wandering around the two floors until she finally finds her bed at midnight. She will offer training at all times, except when sleeping or eating.

During the day, she is clad in iron boots, cuirass and greaves. She wields an iron longsword and blocks with an iron shield. When she goes to bed, she changes into a more comfortable set of burgundy linens, a matching shirt and clogs. She carries around a cheese wheel and a small amount of gold.

When you meet her for the first time, she will introduce herself briefly: "Huurwen of the Fighters Guild. Health and fortune." When asked about her city of choice, she will recommend leaving as soon as possible: "Get outside of town, if you get a chance, and hike north along the coast. Great views and good hunting."

The Anvil citizens have noticed her how good she is at blocking. When you ask them about rumors they will say: "Huurwen was sparring with some other Fighters Guild members recently. I don't think any of them could get a hit through her shield." and "I saw Huurwen practicing shield technique at the Figters Guild the other day. She could teach me a thing or two."
