Hil the Tall in the Chapel of Arkay, Cheydinhal

Hil the Tall is a male Nord Priest who serves the Nine at the Chapel of Arkay in Cheydinhal. He loves everything and everyone. Yes, even you. Just ask him. He is also aptly named as he is taller than almost all NPCs, including Nords, despite being one. He only offers basic training in Illusion (despite the fact that in his greeting he says that he is a trainer in Alteration). Hil can be killed during the Knights of the Nine quest The Sword of the Crusader. If he dies for whatever reason, he will be replaced at the end of the Knights of the Nine questline (after Umaril the Unfeathered) by Esbern, who has the same schedule and services as Hil.

• Among his many other incorrect claims, he often says "Praise Arkay, and all her little woodland creatures!" When in fact Arkay is not only male, but also the god of funerals, not 'little woodland creatures.' The Aedra he is likely referring to is Kynareth, who does not have a conventional chapel, though her woodland Shrine is added by the Knights of the Nine official plug-in.
