Crayfish Cave is a large cave south of Cheydinhal containing monsters. [edit] It contains five zones: Crayfish Cave, Crayfish Capillaries, Crayfish Vents, Crayfish Steep, and Crayfish Soggy Bottom.

- This cave contains 29 Cairn Bolete plants and 123 Wisp Stalk plants.
- There are five zones here. Because the other four all connect to Crayfish Cave, it can be a bit confusing keeping track of them:
- Crayfish Capillaries (entered at C) dead ends.
- Crayfish Vents (at D) leads to Crayfish Soggy Bottom (H), which then returns to Crayfish Cave (G, at an upper level)
- Crayfish Steep (entered at F) loops back to Crayfish Cave (E, providing access to an upper level).
- There are three boss monsters, and two boss chests:
- A boss monster is at the north end of Crayfish Vents with a boss chest.
- A boss monster is at south end of Crayfish Soggy Bottom protecting a locked boss chest.
- The third boss is in a hidden passage behind a rock wall in Crayfish Steep. Past him is a room with a grand soul gem on a pedestal.
- Many of the chests in this cave are somewhat oddly located, for example: stuffed inside a barrel, hidden in a ruined crate, on their sides, on their ends, or hidden under cairn bolete caps.
- One section of this cave, containing the Grand Soul Gem and one boss-level monster in Crayfish Steep, does not exist unless you have reached at least stage 30 of the Vampire Cure quest.

- This location's map marker (M on map) is named Crayfish Cave (editor name CrayfishCaveMapMarker). The entrance door is E of the marker, 40 feet away.
- 0-1 Mud Crab is near the entrance
- 1 Wilderness Creature (Hills variety) is near the entrance
- 1 Wilderness Creature (Valley variety) is near the entrance
- The following plants can be found near the entrance: 1 Ginseng plant, 3 Lady's Smock plants, 1 Monkshood plant, and 3 Motherwort plants

[edit] Zone 4: Crayfish Steep
One section of this zone does not exist unless you have started the Vampire Cure quest. At stage 30 of that quest (when Melisande tells you she wants five Grand Soul Gems), rock walls I, J, and K and the tunnel behind them is added to the dungeon. Before that point, the tunnel, the boss-level monster, and the soul gem do not exist, even if you use Console commands such as tcl. Following the quest, the section remains in place for the remainder of the game.
This zone has sections that are underwater.
Occupants:
- 1 boss-level Monster at location A on map (only if Vampire Cure quest has been started, see above).
- 0-1 Monster
- 3-5 Monster Enemies (each 80% probability Monster, 20% Rat)
Treasure:
