Split[edit]

Note that although this quest could be split into several smaller quests, it is still one single quest on the game journal. --DrPhoton 05:37, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

True, though unlike Oblivion, quests in Morrowind don't have a specific name that is visible to the player. The only way you'd know they were all part of one quest would be to look at it in the Construction Set. I think the average player's experience is more significant than what you can get by looking directly at the code that makes it happen. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:45, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
Well, this is not entirely true. If you have any of the expansions (Tribunal or Bloodmoon) or the GotY version, then the quest names appear in your journal, where you can access all journal entries related to a particular quest. --DrPhoton 15:53, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

Containers?[edit]

Although the "barrel_01_ahnassi_{food,drink}" containers are set as Organic, they're not set to respawn. Alphax 08:26, 4 March 2008 (EST)

Pressure from the Camonna Tong / Discrepancy[edit]

Just went back and confirmed this. For the reward on this quest/sub-quest, while I did receive the new clothes and a book, the book was not Honor Among Thieves. I was given The 36 Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 30. Planning on changing it soon as I'll explain but wanted to bring it up here for input or if someone can definitely say they received Honor Among Thieves. I would say that this is an error in the walkthrough as Honor Among Thieves is not shown to give you a Short Blade Skill increase whereas I can 100% say that Sermon 30 did as well as being shown to do so on the respective page. --AlbinoMudcrab 01:26, 18 April 2008 (EDT)

You are correct, I think. The reward for this quest is definitely one of the sermons - but I can't confirm which one specifically. You can, however, get Honor Among Thieves off Ahnassi through dialogue. I think you need to be her friend but not be in the Thieves Guild, then talk to her about Join the Thieves Guild. I'm going from memory, here, though, as it's a while since I've done the Ahnassi quests. --Gaebrial 03:18, 18 April 2008 (EDT)

Where'd she go?[edit]

I did it all to the point where we moved in together, i looked around went downstaires and slept came back up and she was gone. I looked in halfway-tavern again and no luck, help?

I'm hvaing the same problem right now. -Itachi 19:14, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

I have had her dissapear a few times too, after she moved to her house. The only way Ive found to remedy this is load a savegame from before she dissapeared.

--Merari 15:47, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Interestingly, this may be part of the gameplay. I have the same issue - but when I enquired of a couple of the tavern goers (using the 'Ahnassi' dialogue option), Samia and Nels Llendo, they said:

'Don't tell me you're still pursuing her. You are wasting your time with that one - I don't think she's capable of a genuine relationship with a man. Anyway, she's not here. Ahnassi has not been to the Halfway Tavern for some time; I heard she is keeping house with some poor man.' Obviously, I slew them both on the spot for slandering my common law wife... --Reddavepirate 14:26, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

i dont know what your talking about, it might be a mod but im almost entirely sure she is majorly affected by the npcs moving north glitch (From Fear to Eternity- Eddie The Head 14:31, 14 August 2011 (UTC))

Disposition, what disposition?[edit]

The parameter in the quest heading states that up to 40 disposition can be gained from this quest. I've yet to test this in game, but by scouring the CS I can't find any points in the quest where there is a disposition increase with anyone. Has anyone else had more luck? - GLT|C 17:11, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

It's almost right. You can gain up to 40 disp with Ahnassi but there's another 50 you can gain with Senyndie. Ahnassi's disp comes as follows:
  • +10 - Ahnassi tells you, Ahnassi trusts you. Yes, Ahnassi is a thief. You do not mind? Why? Because Ahnassi loves secret things. She loves secrets, and when she finds them, she loves to have them. Like this strange Hrordis upstairs.
  • +10 - We mustn't keep meeting here in this old cornerclub. At Ahnassi's house, Ahnassi can show her VERY special friend some good, old-fashioned Khajiit hospitality.
  • +20 - Ahnassi is safe? This bad person is no more? If you get a price on your head for helping Ahnassi, Ahnassi calls in all her favors, gets this fixed. Promise.
Senyndie's comes with the line So Ahnassi has sent you to me, because she thinks you might be eager to learn some of the things I know. That is so like Ahnassi, thinking of others. And always scheming, always scamming, bless her furry little paws.
rpehTCE 17:24, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Ah hah! Well, almost ah hah. I can find the first of those, but the other two are still hiding. Could you tell me the topics that trigger them, by any chance? Welcome back the UESP, by the way :) Glad to have you again.- GLT|C 17:35, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

quest missing?[edit]

The quest in which Ahnassi asks you to cure her mate from skooma addiction is missing, if i recall correctly it is the quest after 'pressure from the camonna tong'. From memory it asks you to go to Vivec St Olms Canton underworks to her mate, then you go to Jobasha's Rare Books to buy a book titles 'Confessions of a skooma addict'. Give it to her mate and return to Ahnassi to complete the quest. Alderon95.96.232.205 22:15, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

You mean this one? –rpehTCE 22:18, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

Moved from main article --SerCenKing Talk 20:09, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I am experiencing this problem or a bug: I was asked by Ahnassi to get the 2 flowers for her and was told to meet her in her house in Pelagiad, which I did. Then when I returned afterwards there, I found her in front of the fireplace but I didnt have the flowers so I went away for other business. When I came back to her house many days later, Ahnassi could not be found either in her house nor in the tavern. I guess it must be a kind of a bug, can you please help to solve it? — Unsigned comment by 83.240.54.11 (talk) on 31 January 2010

About people not being able to find her[edit]

I can't remember where I heard this from but I think she is one of the people most affected by the slowly moving north glitch, so In a lot of cases I bet she fell through the floor, like that orc for the second main quest.

see if the console command RA will bring her back.Marcel 02:42, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Not a Computer player, just thought that might be a good note that she is more Susseptable (Spelling, most likely :-D) to the glitch (if she is). — Unsigned comment by 68.59.234.55 (talk) on 26 February 2010
Reading the description of the glitch here it doesn't sound very likely, as it mostly seems to affect Transport service providers and Pelagiad isn't mentioned as one of the worst-hit towns. Also, she would have to spawn quite a bit to the north to actually fall through the floor. Still, it is possible and needs more checking. --SerCenKing Talk 22:51, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
I turned off the collision when I was at her house.... It turns out that she did fall through the floor. I'm not sure how to get her back though. -Random morrowind addict — Unsigned comment by 67.170.12.230 (talk) on 29 November 2010
Try the following console command: PositionCell 402, -327, 639, 0, "Pelagiad, Ahnassi's House". rpeh •TCE 11:31, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

() Glitch seems to happen if you sleep in her house, the above poster has the correct coordinates, open the console and type Ahnassi-> Position 402, -327, 639, 0, "Pelagiad, Ahnassi's House" and she'll be reset to her default location. — Unsigned comment by 129.241.122.227 (talk) at 13:19 on 8 June 2013

Equivilent?[edit]

I was wondering if there was a similar ability to have a relationship like this for female players?

Not without unofficial mods, I think. You can be referred to other characters for a relationship, for either gender, but there are no related quests like this one. -DevotedInsanity 00:54, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm just discovering that a female PC gets a strong come-on from Nels Llendo near Pelagiad, but it may not amount to much. Downstrike (talk) 05:07, 16 April 2013 (GMT)

Minor bug with training topic[edit]

When I talk to Ahnassi about Thieves Guild her training topic transfers down to other topics, I have Morrowind GOTY with latest official patch and 1.6.5 beta unoffical patch (quorn). But training still works! — Unsigned comment by 78.0.184.35 (talk) at 22:02 on 26 August 2010‎

This caused by Ladia's Flarugrius "Training" topic. Only Ahnassi and Ladia affected. — Unsigned comment by ‎ 46.187.4.247 (talk) at 11:49 on 17 August 2018

jd'hannar[edit]

what happens if you kill jd'hannar? (Eddie the head 15:40, 13 January 2011 (UTC))

Improper Link?[edit]

the page Morrowind:Remote_Shipwreck links to this one. I am unsure why, but am known to miss details, so dont want to outright remove it. Eidolon 14:20, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Huh, I can't see a reason either, but it has been there since the very first version of the page...I've removed it, so unless I missed something... --DKong27 Talk Cont 15:16, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
The key on the ship can be used in the last part of the quest. --Brf 15:42, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
That's a tenuous enough relationship that if the articles are to be linked, the connection between the two should be explained some where, particularly since that key isn't involved in the route that Ahnassi recommends to accomplish that part of the quest. TBH, that key might be more relevant to some other quest. Downstrike (talk) 02:26, 16 April 2013 (GMT)

Last Quest[edit]

So what happened with Ahnasi a special friend last quest ? I have the glove she asked me,when i click share a gift, the journal are not updating and the quest can finished D: Any fix on this ? — Unsigned comment by Rosenkreuz (talkcontribs) at 19:10 on 27 December 2013‎

You can't finish quest legal way if you give robe to Ahnassi. But you can finish it via console "Journal Romance_Ahnassi 95" — Unsigned comment by 46.187.36.42 (talk) at 11:24 on 23 August 2018‎
