Talk to Lalatia Varian at the Imperial Chapels in Ebonheart for an Oracle's quest.
Travel to Rotheran to free Adusamsi Assurnarairan and recover the Ice Blade of the Monarch.
Find Llaren Terano and kill him to get the blade.
Free Adusamsi Assurnarairan and give her Adusamsi's Ring for her escape.
Return to Lalatia to complete the quest.

[edit] Oracle's Quest

Lalatia Varian at the Imperial Chapels in Ebonheart will ask you to go to the stronghold of Rotheran and rescue Adusamsi Assurnarairan. She will also ask you to recover yet another artifact, the Ice Blade of the Monarch.

[edit] Ice Blade of the Monarch

Rotheran is in the Sheogorad region, south of Dagon Fel. The quickest way to reach Dagon Fel is to take a boat to Sadrith Mora and then travel (once again by boat) to Dagon Fel. One of the many Dunmer in the stronghold is Llaren Terano who has the blade you are seeking. He also has Adusamsi's Ring.

[edit] Free Adusamsi Assurnarairan

There are a number of slaves in the arena, including Adusamsi Assurnarairan. She will ask you to recover her ring from Llaren Terano. If you have it in your possession, she immediately takes it and teleports out.

Return to Lalatia Varian once you have freed Assurnarairan to get Adusamsi's Ring as a reward. If you have the Ice Blade of the Monarch in your possession, you will get to keep it, as well as a larger faction reputation boost and an extra Reputation point.

Llaren Terano also wears Adusamsi's Robe.
If you give Adusamsi the ring before the Imperial Cult sends you, Lalatia will skip giving this quest, so you won't get the reward. If you haven't got the quest, just avoid Adusamsi until you get the quest. Be sure to loot the ring from the corpse though, since like most corpses it will dissappear in three days. (This problem is not from the sword, as many have believed)

1		The Oracle has asked me to rescue Adusamsi Assurnarairan from the Dunmer stronghold of Rotheran. She went there to recover the Ice Blade of the Monarch. If possible, I'm to recover the Ice Blade of the Monarch, and bring that to back to the Oracle.
50		The Oracle had already heard from Adusamsi Assurnarairan about her rescue. Adusamsi sent me her enchanted ring as a token of her gratitude. The Oracle suggested I should keep the Ice Blade of the Monarch if I should find it. She thanked me, and told me to speak to her when I am ready for another of the Oracle's Quests.
55		The Oracle had already heard from Adusamsi Assurnarairan about her rescue. Adusamsi sent me her enchanted ring as a token of her gratitude. The Oracle suggested I should keep the Ice Blade of the Monarch and dedicate it to the service of the Imperial cult. She thanked me, and told me to speak to her when I am ready for another of the Oracle's Quests.

10		Adusamsi Assurnarairan asked me to recover her ring from Llaren Terano, the sorcerer who captured her. She doesn't sound quite right in the head. She thinks the sorcerer may have poisoned her mind with spells. She says she can use the enchantments to escape. She asked me also to free the slaves here. Llaren Terano has their slave key.
40		I recovered Adusamsi's Ring and returned it to her. I suppose she will use its Divine Intervention enchantment to escape. Now I can return to the Oracle and report having completed my task. And I should also bring her the Ice Blade of the Monarch, if I can find it.
