Gothren

Archmagister Gothren is a Dunmer sorcerer and the current Archmagister of House Telvanni. As distrustful as most Telvanni are of outlanders, Gothren is far more so. Gothren is in many ways even more arrogant and isolationist than the other Masters. You will not receive his support to become either Hortator or Archmagister by any means short of killing him. Gothren has very few dialogue options and will not even discuss becoming either of the above.

Gothren can be found in the upper chambers of Tel Aruhn in a separate hall. He is constantly guarded by two subservient Dremora, who will fight to save his life.

The Masters of House Telvanni seem indifferent to Gothren's position and ideals, except for Master Aryon, who would dearly like to see him overthrown, believing that personalities like those of Gothren, Master Neloth and Mistress Dratha are holding the Telvanni back from greater success.
