For more information, see the Morrowind Vvardenfell article.

However, the Morrowind article is just a transclusion of this one, with no additional information. Is there the intention to add information to the Morrowind page? --Gaebrial 03:56, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Well, after the cleanup tag is addressed, the two versions should differ considerably. --BenouldTC 04:01, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

slave trade[edit]

There seems to be some confusion in the article. Is it legal or not?Temple-Zero 12:58, 6 September 2008 (EDT)

This is probably a case where we need "In MW/In OB" sections. It's clearly legal in Morrowind but there are rumors in Oblivion that the trade has been outlawed. As it stands the article only gives credence to the MW POV. Given the wealth of material confirming slavery's legality, and the fact that it's only rumors in Oblivion saying anything different, I'd suggest an addition of an "In Oblivion" section only, outlining the rumor. –RpehTCE 13:24, 6 September 2008 (EDT)
That's not the problem, I don't think. Slavery is obviously legal in game-era Morrowind, but is the Slave Trade? (Southern states in the U.S. outlawed the slave trade but not slavery, that's what I'm talking about) Exclusively smugglers seem to be moving them into the province, to be sold at domestic markets. The Empire has restricted most of the trade, so it seems a good way to crack down on the practice. If that line about House Dres being a supplier could be sourced, it would clear things up.Temple-Zero 13:36, 6 September 2008 (EDT)

Holamayan[edit]

On the map, it shows Holamayan Monestary as under the ownership of the Tribunal Temple. Isn't it owned by the Dissident Priests, not the Temple? — Unsigned comment by 97.95.135.44 (talk) on 26 June 2009

Yes, the map is fan-made and has some issues.Temple-Zero 23:17, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
All the issues were discussed at the time I created it. Holamayan may be used by the dissidents, but they are still part of the temple. What other issues do you think the map has? –RpehTCE 07:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Eruption[edit]

The eruption section has been edited nut the hyperlinks would not work so would appreciate being done. thanks — Unsigned comment by Dovahreid (talkcontribs) at 18:06 on 5 August 2011‎

TES III[edit]

"It serves as the setting for the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind." While this is a very important fact and a similar sentence is added to Lore:Cyrodiil (and I assume other pages such as Skyrim, etc.), guidelines say that lore articles should be written entirely from the perspective of an individual living in the world, with game-specific info on the game pages. Should we keep these sentences? Should we put them only on the pages in the game namespaces? --Velyanthe 01:21, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Fauna and Flora[edit]

Should these articles have Fauna and Flora?--Ashendant (talk) 19:49, 4 May 2013 (GMT)

Partition of Vvardenfell[edit]

Why Vvardenfell was colonized not so long after the time of TES III? Why the Temple decided to start colonizing it and why only three of the five Great Houses acquired territory? --Joei160 (talk) 16:26, 23 may 2018 (GMT)

It was historically a Temple reserve, but was opened to settlement by the Empire in 3E 414 when it was reorganised as an Imperial Provincial District. However, the Redoran and Telvanni had a significant presence on the island long before this, as we see in ESO. —Legoless (talk) 19:44, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Mass exodus post Red Year[edit]

Is there a source on the line "The eruption led to most of the island being covered in ash, leading to a mass exodus to the nearby island of Solstheim." that specifically only mentions Solstheim? Shouldn't the other emmigration points be mentioned like Skyrim (as mentioned by the Azura worshippsers we see in TES V)?--ThomasTheWest (talk) 17:49, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
