Is it Really Necessary?[edit]

I honestly don't see the necessecity for this page; it's a city that has almost no references except a map and -- perhaps -- the Pocket Guides. And in addition to that, there really aren't any major events, locations, or people there. So either this is not a stub or it should be deleted; if it IS still a stub and other editors think it should stay, then I'll go ahead and add some PGE references.--Kalis AgeaYes? I think it was featured in Arena, in which case there's a bit of information to add such as the name of the scrapped gladiator team. Might as well have it as a lore article, because Arena namespace doesn't have place pages for cities. Legoless 23:45, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Edit: Yup, here's a quote from the unused text file, taken from TIC:
"None can match the beauty of Shimmerene, the city of lights. Be welcome and merry, for what is ours is yours. However, if you come to challenge tread lightly, the Titans do not take kindly to would be usurpers..."

Alright, I'll add it in just a moment. Thanks! I had forgotten about the Arena info; it's been at least a year since I played the game.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 00:17, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
Done. Thanks again.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 00:24, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I was thinking about making it a project of mine to add close-up images of the provinces in which places are located (this article is the first one that comes to mind as an example). I was wondering how to do this. If there are any articles or something on it, then that would help greatly. Thanks.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 07:36, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm not a huge fan of those maps. They're rather ugly and don't really convey much useful information. I'm not sure how they were created to make them so poor. I'd just crop a map of the relevant province and resize the result, which shouldn't look so horribly blocky. rpeh •TCE 08:05, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I don't particularly like that image myself. You might have better luck using the images from the pocket guide, found on the province pages (e.g. this one). Legoless 08:07, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
I think I'll go ahead and just use the PGE images. I don't want to get much more complicated than that unless it's needed. Thanks for the help, you guys!--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 08:10, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
