The realm of Battlespire, the magical academy of the battlemages, is a thin slipstream between Oblivion and Mundus, and acts as a sort of sanctuary and training ground for the Shadow Legion, the imperial guards. The stronghold was once attacked by invading daedra, all of whom bore the "daedric crescent". The Battlespire was destroyed during the invasion's aftermath. These events were featured in the Elder Scrolls Legend game, Battlespire.
