This quest is one of those quests that run in the background and are used to control various events related to the Main Quest of Daggerfall.

The purpose of this quest is to send Queen Akorithi's men after you once your Reputation with her drops beyond 5 and the quest Who Gets the Totem is still running. The quest starts also in case you exit Castle Daggerfall with the totem and your reputation with Akorithi is lower than 5.

The start up of the quest is irreversible, even when your reputation goes up to 5 or higher again, the quest remains active. Its time limit is 444 days 10 hours and 40 minutes.

• 30x Three Battlemages every one-hundred in-game minutes (5% chance) once the quest is started

• The quest will not stop until the time limit has expired, even when the totem has already been given to someone or it has vanished after 361 days.
