- Daggerfall City
- Daggerfall is one of the oldest and largest cities in the province of High Rock and has been considered
the capital of the province for quite some time. Although presently equalled or surpassed by some cities in
Tamriel or the Iliac Bay (such as Wayrest and Sentinel), one must remember that Daggerfall was the largest
kingdom in High Rock before its acccession to the Empire and thusby Cyrodilic tradition, maintains its
right to maintain its royal court. Few buildings today survive, with Bretons being unsentimental about history,
that show of its founding by the Nords during the First Empire. Daggerfall's success has waxed and waned over
the years, peaking during the Alessian period and suffering greatly during the Thrassian plague which it
is still recovering from.
- Deshann Plain
- The plains in southern Morrowind which merging into the swamps of Black Marsh furthur south.
- Direnni Tower
- A tall, circular and ancient tower on the Isle of Balfiera in the Iliac Bay. The Tower was used as a fortress,
prison, and palace by the Direnni Hegemony but its true purpose has remained a mystery. The latest magical
divination of its age places its construction around ME 2500, making it the oldest known structure in Tamriel.
The tower has been modified several times over the years, but the clyindrical core of metal has not been touched
and is rumoured to extend as far into the ground as it does protude above it but its depths have never been
thoroughly explored.
- Diss
- A major city on the western coast of Valenwood.
- Dragon Empire
- See Cyrodiil
- Dragontail Mountains
- A mountain range in the province of Hammerfell along the northern border to High Rock and the Iliac Bay.
- Dunmereth

- Dunmeth Pass
- A pass near the Skyrim city of Windhelm leading into Morrowind.
