I joined a guild and started depositing items in the guild's bank account. I don't have permission to withdraw items yet. Apparently the items I deposited aren't stacking, such as if I deposit 5 lockpicks, then later I deposit 2 more lockpicks. The guild's owner has tried stacking them but they won't stack. He even tried withdrawing them, then stacking them, then redepositing the stack, but says that didn't work either-- I guess they got split up again? Is there some trick to stacking?

On another related note, I've gotten experience scrolls that I found in chests (or maybe they were quest rewards), and I can't stack them in my inventory, even though they're exactly the same-- say, one stack has 5 scrolls in it, another stack has 3 scrolls, and they won't combine to form a stack of 8 identical scrolls. I don't know if that's the same problem (reason), but it seems like a similar issue.

Is there some sort of invisible flag or property associated with each stack which makes them different and unstackable, even though the item names and descriptions for both stacks are exactly the same?

Guild banks not stacking some items has been a bug for quite a long time. There's an add-on to fix the stacks (usually if you withdraw them and stack them it works, so I'm not sure why your guild owner can't stack them, maybe there is a difference for those particular ones or something?), but I don't imagine that works if you don't have withdrawal capabilities and again if you can't do it manually then I doubt those can fix it since withdrawing/stacking/depositing is all it does.
