Morrowind moments that made you think "WTF?"

I just fell through the floor into the nothingness and it took a minute of health going down till the screen went black, I was then launched to the front door of the Balmora Mages Guild and died hovering in the air.

Usually "WTF" moments are in fear (because a Bosmer just fell from the sky) or something amusing happens. This "WTF" moment however is neither of those. It is in fact quite the opposite. This is my tale.

So in the to years that I have playing Morrowind, I have never gotten, more of by choice than anything, the two artifacts Ebony Mail and Eltonbrand. I knew that i would be unable to get Eltonbrand because of certain chooses I had made in previous gameplay, so I decided to get the Ebony Mail, the last artifact for the Mournhold Museum of Artifacts, my then current self quest. So I set out doing Temple work. I do all the work for the Temple faction except the one in Vivec. So I go there, get the quest that asks you to ask some women to leave Vivec city because she is afflicted with Corprus, only to discover that the women is not there. Bare in mind thast I have done this quest before in files prior, so I know how it is supposed to go down. I get pretty upset then thinking that I might not be able to get the Ebony Mail because of this... glitch. However Fortune smiled upon me. I had saved sometime before I embarked on this quest and was able to reload my game and start the quest all over again. So I do. Then in the next ten minutes I have a mature tantrum and rage on a wee bit because even though I reload, the error was still there. or more correctly the inflected person wasn't there. So with the entire hopes and dreams of this file crushed (I had completed all of Soltheim, Morrowind, and was collecting the pieces to True Flame at the time), I restarted. Boy did my Saturday suck for a while. WTF was about the only thing going through my head, and I ma no heavy swearer either. But there was/is an upside. For some time now I have been meaning to make my Templar character and this instance provided the perfect opportunity.

This is the second file I have had ruined by some ingame foul up. The first being when a Ghost Gate guard confiscated my Daedric greaves (I was walking about the world in full Daedric and dang proud of it). Unfortunately I was unaware of Evidence chests at that times and I remade my file. I will never forget that one; it was a female Imperial and her skills were so well chosen that it felt like I was leveling up every 5 minutes. I was dang good, high level full Daedric *stares dreamily off into space* Yeah, good times.

I will admit, it was a bit anticlimactic fighting Dagoth Ur for the first time in the heart chamber, accidentely falling off the edge onto a rock.


....and then looking up and seeing dagoth ur falling down as well into the lava

In the shrine in a redoran village where Mehrunes Dagon threw the rock and now they worship it. Do you remember that place? Yeah the fond memories. Sniff Sniff. Anyway I taunted the Daedra and he was like " Yeah when I kill you I will rape your corpse don't worry I'll be gentle!" I'm like " WTF?!?! I'm a MAN!!!" I guess they swing both ways.

Also in Ald'Ruhn the smith near the Giant crab shell I dropped a repair hammer when I was standing face to face with the smith and it just started floating over her head. I was like maybe it's just a "thing".

Also when ever I leave buildings sometimes I hear like a punch and then I die WTF is that?

Almalexia shocked me the first time I saw her. I was expecting some amazing Chimer queen of infinite knowledge, but instead I find her. What a nuisance.

I was shocked when I was hit by a poison spell for the first time. Couldn't figure out what killed me so fast.
Also thought WTF? when some fellow in a funny hat just dropped dead on the road in front of me. Turned out he was practicing a teleport spell or something.
Oh, not to mention my first Cliff racer attacking me from behind
Judging by the earlier posts, I still have quite a few things coming... *gulp*

When I equipped the alternate version of Wraithguard yesterday. I have the other version but decided to get the other one as I was on a god killing spree that day. then Vivec. I then took the Unique Dwemer artifact to be fixed up and be awesome with both forms pf Kagrenac's Tools. I knew it would drop my health, but not 200 points! So I am left with sixteen points of health. Suck, I know. I then scrambled out of the Corprusium as fast as my little Dunmer legs could carry me to the Balmora's Mage's Guild where I used a fraction of my 2 million gold to enchant my full suit of Daedric armour with a Fortify Health spell. Consequentially I had to train up my heavy armour skill as high as I could so the armour would be more effective as medium and light are my Major and Minor. At best I can scrape up 160-ish points of health, so I still need to find either a better enchantable armour, or do some cheating and boost my health the dirty way.

But yeah, 16 points left of Health out of my previous 216?! WTF!!!

When you one-hit-kill someone and they exclaim something as they're dying/dead. It's more of a hilarious moment than wtf.

Redguard: *while dying and falling to the ground* "It's about time I had some fun!"

What's more, I have recently discovered that my character yells too. It was weird, watching her die and cry "Stooooopid!" at the same time.
