I think my greatest WTF?!?!?! was when I was walking along in the middle of no where, as I do alot. I was walking and my danger sense went off(I can tell when somethings behind me in video games, I don't know how, so don't ask), and I turned around and found myself being stalked by atleast 15 cliff racers. I ate good for months. That, and when i used the scroll of Icarian Flight. Should've read the dude's journal first, or atleast rnoticed that he died. Needless to say, I died somewhere inside the red gate thing, I forget what it's called.

Ghostgate.

There, I had my grammar nazi moment of the day.

Actually, now I think about it, I had plenty of WTF moments when I started playing (bearing in mind that my only experience of TES beforehand was playing Oblivion):

- There's no compass with an idiot arrow!
- Where are the map markers?
- My spell/potion/repair/enchantment just failed!
- I have to sheath my weapon and stick my hands out like a zombie before I can do magic. WTF?
- Why isn't my magicka regenerating?
- Why can't I fast travel?
- Why does everyone refer to me as 'outlander'? My character's a Dunmer!
- Arrghh, everything can kill me, even rats!

But, I got used to it in time. Now I have a kind of reverse culture shock when I play Oblivion..."Right, I'd better equip a levitation spell...oh, I forgot, I can't levitate...bummer."

Seeing Morwen's post I know of quite a few.

Having to walk to Balmora. (Didn't know of the GIANT bug to my right)
Spending a day looking for Hla Oad.
Getting killed by the "bad people" in the Council Club in Balmora.
Being so out of date on my lore.
Giving up on looking for Caius Cosades. In Seyda Neen.
Using Icarian Flight in a room.
Underestimating the Ordinators.
Not thinking that you can get a death warrant, and get rid of it.
Thinking, "HOW CAN I OPEN THIS 60 LOCK WITH MY APPRENTICE'S LOCKPICK?"
Taunting.
Admiring.
Bribing.

And many more.

Creeping up behind a civilian, drawing back my bow to full strength, loosing an arrow and being EXTREMELY surprised when he turned around screamed "YOU N'WAH" and killed me.

You just trip out on skooma and head down rainbow alley.
