holy moly lmao 3 years late

Born a slayer, plagued with desire
An independent sword for hire
Caught and tried, freed at last
Determined to redeem his past
Seeking penance, he changed his trade
His efforts were not of evil, but aid
Instead of attacking fellow friends
Winged menaces would meet their ends

Lobbing a softball up to get us back on track?

Jiub, or I St. Jiub, if I want to be official.

I'll do my best to think of something but seriously, if anyone feels like continuing this tradition, someone else can take my go.

That is assuming I'm right of course haha. AtoM could be tricking me.

nope, no tricks; Jiub's a home run!
i'll post another riddle in the meantime, because i find it fun to make them

A man with a five letter name
Was subject of treasonous blame
Falsely supported,
He ends up deported,
And the chief would not admit shame.
There's also an option of guile
Which would make even Varys smile
The honest in jail
While the crooked prevail
An example of Morrowind wile

First, good to see you again AtoM.

Second, this one's got me thinking. I'll lay out my thought process in case it helps someone out. If we take your words at face value and not as poetic license, we are looking for a Male character whose name is five letters. Most likely candidates would be Redguards, Bosmer, and Altmer, as they almost always have single names. Khajiit and Nords are other good options, Khajiits tend to have slightly longer names, and Nords often have clan names or epithets.

Of course, you could mean that the character's first name is five letters, but that opens up so many possibilities, that it wouldn't seem like a great clue.

Treasonous blame could refer to treason against the empire, king, temple, or possibly an Ashkhan. If it's Kingly treason, I think Tribunal expansion, but I ran through the list of Tribunal NPCs and nobody stuck out. The mention of the "chief" leads me to think of Bloodmoon and the Thirsk and Skaal Village.

That's what I've got right now, while I'm on my lunch break. I'll bet its something glaringly obvious that I'm overthinking haha.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've posted!

Oh jeez- I realized that my riddle is garbage lol

I messed up the first line- it should read something like "A man with two five letter names", so basically a 5 letter first name and last name (I know, not much of a hint). The riddle itself describes a certain quest where you investigate an infiltration. Here's a differently structured stanza for a hint!

Let's crack open a cold one with the boys-
We've cracked open the Telvanni's crafty ploy
The spy we'll report to the senorita
His name, with no "d", adjusts to "margarita"
To celebrate, how about we drink some souls
Or summon a few creatures made of gold?
