Which public house in Vvardenfell has the best atmosphere? Which would you (as opposed to your character) have as your local?

Which does your character have as their local? Why?

Is it the people that draw you in? It's conceivence? The design of the interior or exterior cell that it is located in? Is it the price and availability of the fare and drinks?

I was always partial to the pub in Raven Rock, but that was mostly because of how invested you get in the town by the time you get everything running
Also a fan of Fara's Hole in the wall, but the same could be said for most Telvanni Town bars; it's the architecture

If I'm not mistaken, the pub in Raven Rock is the best place to go for selling your loot-- that is, as far as human merchants. I didn't even know about the mudcrab merchant until recently, and I forget why I didn't use the scamp merchant much.

I almost always end up using the shack in Seyda Neen as my home base, mainly because it's the first place that becomes available to you-- that is, unless you scurry off to Balmora or elsewhere as soon as you arrive in Vvardenfell. Another advantage is that it's small, so you don't have to wander from room to room trying to remember where you stowed away this or that piece of loot. But its small size is also a major disadvantage, since there are only a handful of containers for stowing your loot, and most of them don't hold much.

It's surprising how physically invested people can become in a place that they have invested in so much time and money

That and when most cities/major towns in Vvardenfel seem to have 2 bars/taverns on average, having only one for miles (Or the entire island if you don't count Thirsk) makes it feel special

Halfway Tavern in Pelagiad is honestly iconic.
