Is it not possible to change the skills using the console? I could do that and get the best set up.

Its not, you can work with what you have.

Post your major skills and minor skills to show us what you got.

The point is this, he's using weapon and armor types that aren't a part of his class's skills (Knights use Heavy armor and Longswords/axes)
It isn't the end of the world, but it means it'll take forever to level up from just using his other non-weapon/armor skills...

You could.....you cheater....

He could use Imperial-Knight armor, maybe Orcish. Though Axes, those are easy to find.

Chitin Axes are the easiest to find, don't even need to kill innocent Ashlanders.

I'm just using the console for fun. I love jumping through the city, stabbing guards before jumping about a mile away! :D

Will I sell my things and buy the appropriate items?

Knight-Heavy Armor can either be acquired by killing a guard in Ebonheart (or someone who happens to wear Steel Imperial Armor), or finding it at random in Daedric Ruins.

Orcish armor is not only the heaviest armor (besides Daedric itself), but it is also the hardest to find. Umbra, and various collections of Orcs do possess them but they are very spread out in Vvardenfell.

Plus Heavy Armor costs some 500-700 septims for a full-case of it.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Heavy_Armor These are lists of Heavy Armor.

I'll also post the weight of said armor all together.

Ebony Armor: 236 lps

Dwemer Armor: 118 lps

Daedric: 354 lps

Imperial Templar: 117 lps

Imperial Steel: 114 lps

Base Steel: 118 lps

Iron Armor: 117 lps

For a starter character? I would recommend a Combat-oriented character, with the Warrior birth sign. Unless you're set on one race, take Redguard. Use long blade.

I used the console and went to showstatreviewmenu. Can you recommend a good class?

Well *actually* there is three terms for money in The Elder Scrolls universe.

Drakes

Septims

and (OF COURSE) Gold.

There are called Septims various times, but they are also called Drakes (Construction of Stronghold) as well. It's a various-name syndrome of in-game money.

I was under the impression Morrowind's currency was Drakes, Cyrodiil's was Septims, and gold was a generic term used by us people in real life, as a generic term for money in RPGS.

I've seen characters use the term Drakes in Seyda Neen and Septims.

Though I suppose it's more centered on Gold-oriented quests like that one near Ald Velothi and buying the ring of Unluckiness.

Drakes and Septims are the same thing. Drakes are a more colloquial term.
Gold is a universal term.

Do any of you guys know where a thread about the best mods is? Is there one? I've played Morrowind from when it was released, but I never did try any of the Mods. I hear some of them are fantastic.

I have actually wondered about why there were no birds on Morrowind, but I guess I put it down to the alien feel of the province. As for bathrooms, I did read an interesting fanfic, which briefly included Roman-esque public baths in Balmora. An idea I can actually see fitting into the architecture and feel of the place.

Birds are replaced by Cliff Racers in Morrowind, IMO. Even though they are annoying and less prettier.

I don't mind Cliff Racers actually, although sometimes when 4 or 5 swoop down on you around about the same time it can be annoying. Still, maybe I don't explore enough, because I don't find them a constant source of annoyance.
