@ Norroen Thank you. It's my favorite too.

My game resolution dropped again.
From 1920x1080 to 1280x960.

I thought it might be because I turned the UAC back on so...
I reran MGSO Options exe and MGEXE setup wizard as administrator. Didn't fix it.
Turned the UAC back off and the resolution went back to 1920x1080, without me doing anything else.
I knew the UAC had to be off for the MGSO installation but damn, whenever I want to play Morrowind too.
None of the shaders or any other MGEXE feature seem to be affected, just the resolution.
I have Morrowind in C:\Game, along with my Steam and GOG folders, and MGEXE's added resolutions are the only things that the UAC seems to be screwing up.

The UAC strikes again.

I, too, would like to join. I was wondering if photos of my house in Balmora would be an acceptable submission.

*EDIT*

Woah, necro. Sorry about that.

I know this is sort of resurrecting a dead thread, but it seems to me that Morrowind is still a beautiful game and deserves to have screenshots of it posted. May as well be posted here.

Here's my first , mostly taken from mods using MGSO 3.0 for Morrowind Modding Showcases. There's 50 screenshots in there from a number of mods, and of course download links are included if you want to try them out yourself. I'll try posting a few more albums like this, if anyone's interested.

Those screenshots are absolutely gorgeous. Looks about as good as Oblivion.

I would like to see more of them.

Once I buy a better video card, maybe I'll be able to use MGE and whatnot.

Got another from Morrowind. This time mostly showing off Solstheim and Iredior Conspiracies, as well as some more shots of Lothavor's Legacy, New Gnaar Mok, and a bunch of other mods. Download links included in the description, just like last time, in case you want to try these mods out for yourself (note: some of them will conflict with each-other, particularly the Vivec ones).

Been a while since I posted here, thought I'd share some of my more recent mod screenshot albums with you all. As always, download links for each mod are included in the image descriptions.

First one is a , from an episode of Morrowind Modding Showcases that contained mostly Bloodmoon-related mods.

Second one is a bit more random, but is predominately a featuring Tel Meskoa and Tel Matouigius, Ald Vendras - Vogar, and Witchwood rather heavily.

The focuses a bit more on MNC: Ebonheart, Skies IV and a variety of Mournhold-related mods.

The fourth one is a mostly , featuring a number of mods that are located near that particular mining town, but also a few other random mods including the Tea Mod by Stuporstar, which is an absolute blast and highly recommended.

is a bit ship-based, with lots of naval-themed mod screenshots and in particular a lot of shots from Journey's End by Lochnarus.

And finally, for the sixth set of screenshots, we have a , the massive overhaul that changes a lot about vanilla Morrowind and which recently just came out with a new version (2.9) and was up for the Mod of the Year Award at ModDB.

Ah man. It just keeps on giving.

This is probably the most impressive user created 'thing' in the history of TES, in my opinion. I call it a thing because it's not one mod but a collection, and the mods weren't made by the same person.

So, to remind everyone of what Morrowind really looks like (sorry, but I find the MGSO to be frankly ugly and barely recognize it as Morrowind lol), here's a couple of screenshots that show that even a nearly 15 year old game can still look beautiful without tons of makeup.

I'm not averse towards modern graphics (except foliage; I hate foliage), but for me, the beauty in Morrowind was in its art direct first and foremost. Yes, the pictures wouldn't be the same without the particle effects and shaders and lighting and all, but Bethesda Softworks took what they had and made it work, creating what I feel is a game more beautiful than most games released this year.

The first time I played Morrowind was 7 years after it's release and I played it on an original Xbox (long story).
I like older games if the game play holds up and Morrowind's did in spades but, in spring 2009, the NPCs looked like ass, the meshes and textures were weaker than need be and bare ground painted green is a poor substitute for grass.
Got a copy for PC, started modding it and haven't looked back.
So, to remind everybody what Morrowind can look like with mods but without MSGO, here's some screenies.

Not faulting Bethesda for the game's look.
They had to develop it within the limitations of when it was developed not how they might have wanted it to look.
I think the difference between Seyda Neen Census and Excise Office pictures, TES III top & ESO bottom, show what they might have done had they been able.

And remember, foliage can be your friend! :P
