Alright. Oh, I didn't mention it above but I should say something just in case anyone is thinking about doing it. No PCs that are children, your character has to be 16 or older. The Vampire community in Dublin have rules against making Children into vampires. Now Beliah's Brood don't care about those rules but the Sheriff likely would have killed you if you were a child.

Been wanting to use Ashling as a name ever since I saw it in S&S because of how much I loved it. Since C&G is dead, going with it here.

I feel like I'm forgetting something but I always think that, so just let me know if I messed up anywhere. This looks really fun!

Playing as someone who isn't a chaotic good or something similar will be tough but I really need to work on branching out and doing something different. Ash, being neutral evil, should be really fun.

@Hissen: Yeah DCU has a music course although I don't think it has a course specifically for teaching Music. Trinity and UCD are much bigger, they have pretty much everything and have more for Arts than the other colleges. It looks mostly fine, I'll add you now. Any problems are minor. You appeared accidentally hit "s" instead of "a" when writing Daeva. As far as I know you can have piercings and tattoos stick around from before the embrace but if you get them afterwards then you have to keep them via force of will (reducing max possible blood by 1.) You could heal tattoos or piercings from before the embrace if you so wished, but then they would then stay healed. I know you aren't doing it but for the record dye will come out of hair and revert to natural hair colour after the embrace. Also he wouldn't go from Primary school to College. You go Primary -> Secondary -> College. In terms of America, Primary would be like Elementary school and Secondary would be like High School, there is no Middle School.

@Winter: Yeah it looks fine, I'll add you now. Dropped out of Secondary School at 18 means she probably dropped out in her last year. She'll regrow that missing eye by the way, unless via force of will she chooses not to (reducing max possible blood by 1.) It would regrow slowly on its own but she can use blood to make it grow back faster. That'll be fun to explain if she meets anyone she knows.

Kerr, could you post a bit about Ireland's police force? Just in case others want to do a cop character as well. Depending on when i hear back from the others, i may get my character ready by the end of today. Doubt it'll take any longer then the end of the week. Also, would being accepted into the police academy at the age of 18 be acceptable and would it last a few years be okay as well?

@Kerr: Would it not stay that way because it was like that when embraced?

An Garda Síochána (On Gar-dah Shee-a-kawn-ah). The Irish police force. Means Guard(ian)s of the Peace; the Gardaí are often known colloquially as "the Guards". "Garda" (gar-dah) is singular (one garda = a cop) although "guard" is the common term; "gardaí" (gar-dee) is plural (two gardaí = two cops). Although the force was formed during a civil war (or perhaps because of this), the gardaí are mostly unarmed: like the British police (though unlike the police in pre-independence Ireland), firearms are not routinely carried by your average officer. Detectives and some uniformed officers (less than 10%) do carry weapons though. Their uniforms look like and their cars look like

You must be a least 18 and no older than 35 to apply to join the Gardí. This is apply to join, there are of course Gardí older than 35. I think training takes about 2 or 3 years. Note however that the Garda College is located in County Tipperary, so a Garda in training would probably be there and not in Dublin. Then again this RP starts Friday 13th 2013 so most colleges will probably have closed for Christmas and there is no reason you couldn't have just been visiting Dublin for the day. To be honest I think you are better off going for a fully trained officer rather than one still in training to avoid these headaches.

@Winter. Yeah, pre existing wounds are similar to piercings I wasn't sure which way to go. Either I should fix piercings or leave severed limbs missing. I think the way I will do it is that like pre-existing piercings by default it will stay that way (that unlike future wounds keeping it that way won't reduce 1 from Max BP) but like piercings the vampire can choose to heal the wound but then it will stay healed. That might be the best way to go, it lets you heal pre-existing piercings and wounds if you want without punishing you in terms of lowering max BP for keeping the pre embrace piercings or wounds the way they were.

Alright I edited it to make him go to trinity and fixed the spelling/general knowledge flaws. You'd think all the time I spent talking to Velvet would've helped but no.

Now I'm not too sure if she'll keep the eyepatch. It was to be kinda a focal point of her appearance but if she can be rid of ot, she would probably want to. Unless she's just so used to using only one eye and brushing her hair over it.

Maybe the Masquerade would be a good excuse.

Right okay Hissen, don't worry about it.

She could regrow the eye and keep the eye patch. Just has to keep it on when she meets with people who knew her before becoming a vampire. Might even keep it on whenever she is out just in-case she bumps into someone she knows.

End of next week. She would have just finished her training and either start her very first shift or just got back from the academy.

Getting more players then I thought I would. Not that I had a problem with what I thought I had, I was fine with 4. I used to think you would all fit in one average car without having to sit on laps. Now it looks like we'll have 7 if everyone who said they want to join does.

Just gonna warn you. Fanny is slang for vagina in Ireland.(And the UK, too).

Oh, no, he doesn't have any mysterious relatives that'll suddenly show up or anything. Anyone who ever knew him before his homelessness either forgot about him or died, and anybody who knew him on the street would only know him as Mumph, or that-guy-who-stabbed-someone-over-a-dirty-towel. He's going to be slurring and using somewhat broken english and grunting and...really quite bestial, well befitting his clan. Mumph is Mumph. If he ever refers to himself as anything else, it might be Emperor of Ireland, Protector of Mexico. And then he'll eat a stray cat, or something.

I'm not worried. He'll never REFER to it as a fanny pack. He'd just angrily defend it, saying "Muh BEANS! Dun touch!".

Treat him like a stray dog, if you want to be on good terms with him. He's geared primarily for survival. He can be appeased with offers of blood ("red-food!"), or money, or whatever. If he feels threatened, he will bite. If there's something he wants, he will bite. If there's some reasoning and negotiation to be done, or complex algorithms to be calculated, he'll just snarl and tear something apart.
